The 2014 Rails Hosting Results are in!
In January 2009, we invited the community to participate in a survey about the state of hosting Ruby on Rails applications. We wanted to get a better understanding of how people are currently managing their deployment and hosting process, and we were fortunate to collect submissions from 1,251 people!
In 2012, we modified a few of the old questions, added some new ones, and set out to discover what had changed over the last three years. This time around, 1,306 people took time out of their busy schedules to let us know how they're hosting their apps, what tools and frameworks they're using, and much more. With the results in hand, thanks to all of your generous participation, we were able to design a helpful infographic and write up a thorough article analyzing the data.
The 2014 Survey Results are in! We've collected and analyzed all the results for our survey this year, thanks so much for participating! We recieved responses from 1,311 people! This year we improved upon our questions from past years and built some interactive charts so you may compare between the answers from previous surveys. Check out the 2014 Rails Hosting Survey!
